Materials: I harvest the wood on my farm in Western, Wisconsin. I use a variety of mixed hardwoods: cherry, elm, hornbeam, hackberry, birch, cedar, & maple. I uphoster the cushions with a dense tufted wool carpet fabric that I design and make with a hand held pnuematically-driven tufting tool. Each chair and footstool is one-of-a-kind. |
